Bike Service and Repair

Service is the cornerstone of our business.

We know that a well-tuned bicycle is a thing of beauty and one that isn’t working properly can be frustrating and dangerous. 

Since 2001 on the corner of Bartlett and Islington, we have worked very hard to grow our service business and become the best bicycle service department in northern New England. We employ seasoned, professional bicycle mechanics who will take care to tune up your bicycle and make it a smooth sailing machine! We also do custom bike builds, pro wheel builds, hydraulic brake bleeds, suspension services, as well as complete bicycle overhauls. 

When you bring your bicycle to us for maintenance or repair, our friendly, professionally-trained technicians will assess your bike's needs and provide you with a free, no-obligation estimate. Whether your bike is in need of a minor adjustment or a major overhaul, we promise that your ride is in good hands.

All new bikes come with 3 years of complimentary adjustments, or, "Papa Tunes". Customers can take advantage of these adjustments from the beginning of October until the end of February. The same service will be $50 from March until the end of September.

Tune ups cover standard adjustments & maintenance: they do not include the cost of any replacement components and the labor to install them. Some components need to be replaced on a regular basis (chains, tires, etc).

We strive to get your service completed in a timely manner. Please be advised we may have extended service wait times during the early Spring into mid Summer. Appointments are highly recommended.

Warranties: Many of our brands back their products by a warranty. We are happy to help facilitate any warranty work or parts replacement through our brands. For bikes not purchased through us, warranties will incur a minimum $35 processing fee (may be greater in some cases). Customers will be responsible for any shipping charges or parts/labor NOT covered by the manufacturer.

*E-bikes: In order to to deliver the best service to our customers, we only work on select e-bike brands. Our technicians are skillfully trained to work on select e-bike systems, including Shimano Steps, Bosch, Specialized Turbo, TQ, Mahle and Fazua. We will service any brand that we sell here, and some others at the discretion of our service team. Those brands include, but are not limited to, Specialized, Giant, Salsa, Troxus, Orbea, BMC, SCOR, Pinarello, Trek, Cannondale. We do not offer services on e-bikes or standard bicycles purchased from department store or online, direct-to-consumer brands.
